Look for event details below, or browse past events for inspiration if you'd like to pilot Soup & Solutions in your own town. Please contact us if you are ready to step up and organize a (guilt-free) Soup & Solutions event educating yourself and your community in the steps necessary to achieve a timely turnaround on the climate crisis.

Monday, June 4th, Going Local: An Evening of Film, Talk, Soup & Action dedicated to Marin's COMMUNITY CHOICE ENERGY, 6:30 pm, 142 Throckmorton Theatre, Mill Valley, CA.

With Supervisor Charles McGlashan, Paul Fenn of Local Power, and Barbara George of Women's Energy Matters. Join us at 6:30 for "Turnaround Soup" (delicious) and 7 - 9 pm for Solutions (exciting). $10 General Admission.  Printable mini-poster

Friday, May 4th, Panel on Climate Crisis & Solutions, The Dance Palace, 5th & B Streets, Point Reyes. A rousing mixture of climate chaos, peak oil, soup of course, and action. MMOB's Megan Matson is honored to join Jerry Mander, Richard Heinberg & Marin Organic's Helge Hellberg.

Monday, April 23rd, Crude Impact screens at 142 Throckmorton Theatre, Mill Valley: 6:30 Soup, 7 Film & Talk, $10 suggested donation. Mainstreet Mom is now screening a 65-minute version of the award-winning film "Crude Impact," with a talk from filmmaker and environmentalist Jay Wood, bite-size actions, soup and bread, scarves and more. To help cook or promote, mail Marin MMOBlet's Nina Itin at nina@themmob.org.

Tuesday, April 24th, Crude Impact screens at Stinson Beach Community Center: 6:00 Soup, 6:30 Film & Talk, no admission, donations appreciated. "StepItUp SF: National Climate Action Day"

11:00 am to 3:00 pm
A coalition rally with our buddies at Working Assets featuring plug-in hybrid cars, biodiesel, feet, bikes, 100% electric race cars if we're lucky, turnaround soup & bite-size actions.
